The Scarsdale diet originated in the U.S. a few decades ago. It was presented as the ideal solution to obtain a rapid weight loss (almost 500gr. per day) so as to be defined as a “miraculous diet”. SOY BEANS seasoned with garlic, parsley, extra virgin olive oil, 100gr. Diced TOFU WITH a side dish of green salad topped with extra virgin olive oil and soy sauce.

SAT – SUN: THE DIET COMPOSITION SHOULD BE SIMILAR TO THAT OF THE OTHER DAYS OF THE WEEK. WITH THE ONLY VARIANT THAT I WOULD INCREASE THE CALORIAL SUPPORT OF 25%. BOTH LUNCH AND DINNER WITH AN INCREASE OF 20% OF THE FRUIT QUANTITY.

This diet can be adopted without problems by anyone without serious blood sugar problems or some nutritional dysfunction.
